VADYNE

TNT Power and Vadyne

Vadyne is a modular power generation system of interchangeable modules.

TNT Power is concerned with balancing the provision of power with the minimizing of its environmental cost.

TNT Power

Keeping Current

Accepting the power of water by tapping into it.

The planetary energy flowing daily makes the vast amount consumed by humans seem insignificant. The power of water around us is huge. As tides, as currents, as rain, in all its forms water absorbs and gives out vast amounts of energy. If we harness even a fraction of this liquid energy, we lessen the energy needed from fossil or nuclear fuels, which are still poisonous to the planet.

We have to think carefully why, where and how we want power and what form it should take. There is an architecture of demand and supply and it has to be graceful with the architecture of the planet. Life costs.

VADYNE

Vadyne is a modular power generation system of interchangeable modules that can be customised and arranged to suit site-specific requirements. Adapting to dynamic changes of the underlying flow matrix is a fundamental necessity and so Vadyne is designed to satisfy the most rigorous of constraints. Each of the major subunits of the power system are validated as modules. They can be swapped in and out of the system.  A driver module can be tethered by an anchor module and coupled with a generator module that can be linked to a power transfer unit. The rationale to these modules is to make them adaptable and better to manage.

VADYNEWater Conveyor

Vadyne Modules assembled as a Riverine Conveyor Power Generation System.

Here we introduce a Submerged Conveyor Drive Unit .

River flow drives generation of electricity via modular linkages of drive unit and generator devices.

Tidal and other current flow are also sources of energy for this system.

Modules can be in or out of stream, i.e. a wet or dry module. Depending on the physical constraints of the site, the practicalities of delivery and installation combine with those of the use and generation requirements. A seasonal generation of power may be sought or suitable so that the disassembly and storage or hibernation of the system is wanted. At another location, a permanent system may be desirable with only backup maintenance and emergency power supply being the main considerations. A one-size system can be installed or modular units fitted and units added or removed. The ability to relocate the system is also well served by the modular version.

Power requirements can dynamically change over the lifespan of any installation and so the ability to grow or downsize the generator system is a fundamental advantage here. There is no built-in redundancy with this system design. Vadyne modules have added advantages when engineering and provisioning the downline linkage to storage and delivery of power. TNT Power storage, transformer, inversion and delivery units are also modular and so can be matched to the energy converted by Vadyne

This example is riverine, as just that, as an example for easy demonstration access and data gathering purposes.

The system has universal application to oceanic settings also. Wherever there is a water current that satisfies the standards and conditions of what is acceptable and usable, power generation can be explored.
